Ananas Integration: Orders and Stock on Serbia's Marketplace

The Ananas integration connects your Ananas (ananas.rs, Serbia) seller account to the PazaryeriBot panel. You need the Client ID and Client Secret from the Ananas Merchant Portal. Orders arrive in the panel and price and stock are updated in one place with your other stores; sales are kept in Serbian dinar (RSD).

What is Ananas?

Ananas is a multi-category online marketplace in Serbia. It sells categories such as fashion, home and garden, electronics, large and small appliances, toys, pet products and tyres.

On its own page Ananas states more than 2.5 million visits and more than 70,000 orders a month. It tells sellers it handles logistics, payment collection and delivery, and offers an optional warehouse service.

What do you need for the Ananas integration?

The connection uses two credentials: Client ID and Client Secret. Both are issued in the Ananas Merchant Portal; if you do not have them, request API access from integrations@ananas.rs.

What works in the Ananas integration and what is not there yet?

Working: product list, order flow, price and stock updates.

Not connected yet: order confirmation (quantity confirmation), customer Q&A, returns and creating products from the panel. No Q&A section was found in the Ananas developer portal.

Good to know: Ananas may apply price changes the next day (the next-day price field on the product).

Can you sell on Ananas from Turkey?

Under Ananas's general terms for merchants, the seller must be a company or sole trader registered with Serbia's Business Registers Agency (APR). Official sources do not say that companies registered outside Serbia can apply directly; ask akademija@ananas.rs before applying.

From Turkey's side, sales to Serbia are exports; exchange rates and tax rules directly affect the sale price. The panel keeps Ananas orders in RSD.

How do you measure profit correctly on Ananas sales?

Profit is not just the sale price minus commission. The real profit of an order is what remains after commission, shipping, any platform service fee, return cost and the product's purchase cost. Some of these become final only when the settlement is issued, not at the moment of sale, so any calculation at the time of sale is by definition an estimate.

The right method has two stages. Before the sale, a category-based estimated rate is used for the pricing decision; the aim is to block a loss-making price up front. After the sale, the most accurate source is the order itself: the marketplace's order and settlement data carries the real deductions for that line. The realised profitability report should use that value, not the estimate.

The marketplace sets the commission rate by category and contract. If the rate is not officially published, use the rate in your own contract; pricing with another seller's figure or a blog post's number silently produces the wrong margin.

What should you check on day one after setting up the Ananas integration?

Right after the first sync, the most important job is to verify barcode and SKU matching. If matching is wrong, automatic updates write stock to the wrong product, and you often notice only when a wrong order arrives.

The second check is price: confirm by hand on a few products that the price in the panel matches the marketplace sale price. The third is a stock buffer; marketplace queues are not instant, so leaving a small buffer on best sellers is the cheapest insurance against overselling.

Finally, turn on notifications: alerts for orders close to their shipping deadline and stock reaching a critical level make late-shipment penalties and cancellation risk visible before they grow.

How should product data be prepared for Ananas?

Whether the integration runs smoothly depends largely on clean product data. Each product needs a unique barcode (EAN/GTIN) and your own SKU; giving the same barcode to two different products is the most common reason stock updates are written to the wrong line.

Product name, brand and variant details such as colour and size should follow the marketplace's category rules. On marketplaces with a category tree like Ananas, picking the wrong category can keep a product out of search or get it rejected at approval.

Images and descriptions also affect sales directly: clear images on a white background showing the whole product, plus a short description with size, material and usage details, reduce customer questions and returns.
